I've been on a bit of a break from modelling lately. My Chronic Fatigue had returned with a vengence and has pretty much put me into a near vegetable state. Until I get a handle on my exhaustion I will be taking a bit of a break.

Now...Must say...not impressed with artists that take designs from other genres SLIGHTLY redesign it then claim it as their own design. Seriously who is so lazy (Or crooked) that they take someone elses work and say it is their own.
I was even more surprised when one particular individual took the design from Mospeda, put it on a book cover (A book I would like to add they wrote...) then has the GAUL to tell people not to use his artwork on RPG sites. You know...sites that have no profit from this btw...
All my designs have been inspired...yet...as an example. My Warstar and Valinoth look similar to ships from Stargate Atlantis and Universe...what is really interesting about that...I designed them in 2001! on Lightwave 5.0
Let me tell you I was pretty surprised when I had seen the Wraith THEN the Destiny later on. Really surprised. However I am to blame as I did not copyright my own designs. the only examples I had were on Forums like exisle.net.
My VF-s were futuristic designs of Macross vessels. Pretty damn straight forward. see how easy that was?

So let me say everyone. Keep track of your artwork. keep examples of dates designed and used.
As for those artists that cannot take the time to ACTUALLY design something of your own or give credit where credit is due...hold onto that self created pride. It is all you really have.

Seriously seriously unimpressed.
